BANGKOK (HPD) — Myanmar military airstrikes have killed more than 60 people attending an anniversary celebration for the main political organization of the Kachin ethnic minority, members of the group and a rescuer said Monday.
The attack came three days before Southeast Asian foreign ministers are due to hold a special meeting in Indonesia to discuss escalating violence in Myanmar.
