Four injured in shooting at Atlanta University

ATLANTA (HPD) — Four people, including three students, were shot during an incident at an Atlanta university on Sunday, authorities said.

A group of people were listening to a DJ near Clark Atlanta University’s Robert W. Woodruff Library around 12:30 am when officers heard gunshots, local police said.

According to preliminary investigations, three students and another person were injured when someone fired from a vehicle, the university said.

One of the victims was only grazed by the bullet and did not want medical attention, police said.

Three other people were taken to hospitals although all were conscious.

Clark Atlanta is part of the series of historically black colleges in the Atlanta area.
